I just found this awesome fic...... HOW DID I MISS THIS? I really think this might be my favorite thing ever. Uhura/girl!Kirk is always great but this is especially perfect. The way you bring them together is so seamless and comes across as very in-character. You got Uhura's and girl!Kirk's voices down so well. And Gaila! And Bones! And Spock! Mostly, though, I adore how clear it is that these two women respect and care for and want each other.

The ending just killed me. Could not have been better.

Loved this to little pieces. It is one that will go in my memories to read over and over.
