I really know what you mean about how delicious girl!Kirk is - I think she's just the kind of female character we really don't get enough of at all from mass media, and so the temptation to genderswap in this fandom is very strong (and has resulted in some amazing stories!) Have you seen nicholasechs's genderswap recs list? (Because I would recommend it.)

And thank you again for your comments about Kirk and Uhura- I am so glad they rang true. (And while I can't picture it in this story, I really feel what you're saying about the introduction of Spock into a Uhura/girl!Kirk relationship :D)
