I love this! I miss Jo so much! It's fics like this that make me wish Kripke had actually taken the time to get to know Jo and explore her story more rather than leave her hanging. But it's fanfic like this that makes up for it!

I love the theme with how all Jo wants in life is to be taken seriously and you showed some great examples of that. I loved how the title fits in with how Jo can't connect with other people.

I loved this image here: She'd worn long-sleeved shirts all summer to hide the bruises she'd given herself, learning to handle the recoil.

The ending was great too! It showed her character growth and how she wasn't going to leave like she did with Dean and I loved that Sam was the one to actually listen and take her seriously. It was an interesting contrast to her earlier scene with Dean.

I almost want to see a sequel to this, but I think this is the perfect ending.
