oh my goodness I love this! Thank you SO MUCH! It's brilliant and cute and witty and covers one of my favorite things about the show - the subversion of the whole secret identity trope where there's lying and angst between the superhero and their civilian friends about the identity. I've always loved that in The Middleman there are some tensions and questions about Wendy's job, but it never truly harms Wendy and Lacey's relationship, and Lacey is willing to take all the plausible deniability that Wendy can give her. That way the reveal was perfect here, with Lacey being absolutely WONDERFUL.

And then of course everything else, Dr. Barbara Thornfield MD PhD and Lacey's feminist-book-club-cum-protest and the dialogue and Wendy's adventures and THE GIRLS OMG. Basically: EEEEEE! ♥
